Each OASYS Player operates on a single standard IT server, fitted with a Matrox video card, to create a broadcast server. The OASYS software components provided on each machine is feature rich, with all the functionality needed to reliably run a single channel linear playout in a standalone configuration with no reliance on any external products or systems. The OASYS broadcast server has a local cache of all playout media, which is registered and available for on-line schedule building. To ensure no media is lost and to create a larger store of material you can connect to a Network Storage device, which allows you to add files from external sources, and the build your schedules off line using all your files. Copy a schedule from an external traffic management system and the OASYS Schedule Importer will convert it to the format required by OASYS Player. Alternatively, build your own schedule using the OASYS Scheduler, dragging and dropping content into the playlist, browsing it, trimming it as required. Add secondary events such as picture in picture video, voiceovers and graphics. When your schedule is complete start your frame accurate, broadcast quality channel playout, with full control of the live playlist, even the item currently on-air.
