With over 15-years experience in the delivery of playout software systems to broadcasters worldwide, we believe that OASYS offers the most integrated playout solution (“Channel in a box”) on the market with all the functionality needed located in one server for a broadcast quality channel to play to air.

 
The OASYS channel in a box operates on a single standard IT server, fitted with video cards, to create a broadcast server. The OASYS software on each machine is configurable, typically offering the following functionality:
 

tick File playout and live feeds
Two live feeds and AV file playout, copying from local or remote storage.
tick Graphics ingest and template creation
Import graphics files & build graphics and text templates for your channel.
tick Media library management
Holds all data on your video, audio and graphics files , enabling fast search.
tick Schedule and media import
Import and conversion of schedules from third party traffic systems.
tick Schedule creation and management
Drag and drop content, set trim points, add primary and secondary events.
tick Playout with triggers and live controls
Frame accurate SD or HD SDI program and preview playout feeds.
tick Mixer and DVE effects
Add squeeze backs, picture-in-picture as well as transitions.
tick Graphics playout with live data feeds
Channel logos, graphics sequences, animations and subtitles.
tick As-Run and technical logs
Time log for all content played to air, plus technical logs for support.
